What began as a single family workshop in the heart of Jaipur has grown, across four generations, into a name synonymous with trust, craftsmanship and timeless design. Every piece that leaves our workshop carries the same standard our founder set over a century ago — honest gold, patient handwork, and a relationship that outlasts the sale.

The founder at the original workshop
Ramanand Jewellers opens as a single workshop in Chandpole Bazar, in the lanes where Jaipur's goldsmiths have worked for generations. One bench, a set of hand tools, and a reputation built one commission at a time.

The craft passes to the founder's sons. Kundan and polki setting join the gold work, and the family begins taking bridal commissions for households across the old city — pieces still worn at weddings today.
The showroom in its first years
The workshop opens its doors to customers for the first time. What had been a place of making becomes a place of choosing, and the family name spreads beyond Jaipur through the families it dressed.
Hallmarking and certification at the bench
Diamond work joins the repertoire and every piece begins leaving the bench BIS hallmarked. Certification through GIA, IGI and JGEPC brings documented assurance to work that had always relied on the family's word.
The workshop today
Four generations on, the pieces are still drawn by hand and set by the same jadai technique used in 1935. The workshop remains in Chandpole Bazar. What has changed is who can find it — and this is the first time the collection has been seen online.
Nothing here is mass-produced. A piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch, then a gold frame is alloyed, drawn and soldered by hand. Stones are sorted and matched by eye before the jadiya sets each one in 24K foil — no glue, no claws. The reverse is finished in fired meenakari enamel, then the piece is polished, BIS hallmarked and checked. Six or seven pairs of hands, and a method that has barely changed in ninety years.
